my why
|
I grew up in Northern California where I learned to garden, raise animals, hike, and love the country. When I grew up I was able to live overseas for several years and travel around the world before settling in the Pacific Northwest.
I have always enjoyed research and learning and was able to use my love of research after my husband became sick. He was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and after trying Western medicine with dangerous side effects we turned to holistic medicine. When he changed his diet, added supplements, and altered his lifestyle he found that his blood sugar levels were stable and he felt better than he had for years. We made changes to our whole families diet and noticed that all of us were healthier and some chronic conditions such as eczema and acne had cleared up. The results were so positive that I decided to pursue a formal education through Hawthorn University to learn as much as I could. Now, I am excited to be able to share all that I've learned and help people on a path of healing, leading healthy, productive lives. |
